Smith County Insider was founded to provide the citizens of Smith County with up-to-date news in an online format. Smith County Insider is owned by Colby McKinney, who also owns Colby Mac Productions, a video production company, and has 8 years of combined video and audio production experience. This experience will be used to provide Smith County residents with news in new ways, including live video coverage, social media, and mobile device integration. This free service will allow the residents of Smith County to stay up-to-date on happenings in their hometown.
Smith County Insider exists to serve the community. They intend to cover as much Smith County news as possible, but it is impossible for them to be everywhere at all times.
